metrocentre less than an hour.

this morning i woke up feeling super fungry and i wondered what i should make for breakfast for half an hour. then i remembered that i still have strawberries i bought like 2 weeks ago so i decided to make french toast stack with rotting strawberries and honey.

don't it look good??? believe it or not this thing here is oil free because of a god-sent utensil called the non-stick pan. i imagined how much better it would taste with butter but i'm on a no-dairy diet so fuck that. and yeah, it's soy milk instead of cow's milk. deep inside i feel like like "ugh bummer" but i try, i try. the strawberries tasted a little weird but i assume it's what a rotting strawberry taste like.

ok just to show off a little bit. i know it's not a super skill and i didn't just learn how to do it 2 days ago... i just love the thrill of expecting the bread to fall outside of the pan but it landed safely in the pan instead. boo.

so after brunch i went to metrocentre to have a look at the game shops there but meh they didn't really have much? it's still pretty cold out there today zzzz. anyway, each game shop only has 1 small section for the vita and they don't even have anything i planned to get. ehh instead i got myself steins;gate 0 because it was on sale so i bought it on impulse LOL it was £34.99 before discount and £20 after! that's cheap as fuck for a new game? in fact it's cheaper than getting it on the malaysian psn store, and it's not even english. this makes me wanna learn japanese just so i can play all the game i have possibly missed out because they don't wanna make an english release :(

the box is sealed so i hope when i open it the game is actually inside LOL i have a confession though, i haven't even started playing steins;gate, as in the first one? what am i doing getting this one??

after walking around looking for more games to no avail, i strolled into a toy shop. no console games or anything, just games like puzzles and stuff. guess what? mx. impulse asked me to buy something from the store because the toy looked very cool.

well, once they're assembled, that is. and i hope once i'm done with the assembly they look at least half of what's shown on the cover. i have fat fingers and these look way more delicate than gundam models. at least those are plastic? these stuff here are just sheets of stuff except for the nanoblock. but i'll save the assembly only for after i go back.

after getting those toys i came back to newcastle. nothing much i could do, really. i was there from about 1pm until 2pm when i thought i could walk around until 4pm and come back just in time for dinner. i wanted to watch a movie but the showtimes were all shit. i'll be watching another movie on wednesday anyway so whatever.

while i was on my way back, i went into forbidden planet because i was attracted by the word "SALE" and "UP TO 75% OFF"; aren't they tempting as fuck?! so out of curiosity obviously i went in and had a look. like OMG i wanted all the board games but then i realized i have no friends. ok i do but i don't really wanna play games with them. just kidding. i might get them next time if i remember and if they're still on sale. i did get something else though. remember i said i wanted to the dragon ball no.4 from anime z? i forgot they aren't open today so i got son goku instead. that solved the itch HAHAHA i also got myself a kingdom hearts figurine keychain that's given on random.

it actually looks pretty cute but i need to get used to the blue hair. it's not bad. 

and i got donald duck for the keychain!! a little bummed, i was hoping i could get the exclusive keyblade or at least a human character but donald's cute too. before my turn at the cashier the person in front of me bought like a pile of these keychains? you're more desperate than me, bud, good luck LOL i wanted to go into another store but i resisted!!! it feels too weird to walk into one game store with a bag of another game store in my hands.

then i got on the journey back to my flat. i really wanted kfc's spicy wings or gyozas. i ended up getting what they call "vegy dumplings" as a snack. IT WAS NOTHING LIKE GYOZA. i kept half of them for my japanese curry udon at night.

eventually i'll have to find a way to ship these toys back because i remember the last time i wrapped them up in bubble wrap and have them fly with me back to malaysia in my luggage, the box was almost destroyed! the figures were fine but i display them in the box?? ugh that sucked so bad.

ummm i think i blogged a little early today? it's just minutes past 4.30pm and i'm already almost done. i have a feeling the rest of my day will be quite boring. do you know what's left to do? cleaning. then it's monday where the week restarts... oh yeah there's a yo sushi discount every monday YAS!

the play where everything went wrong in a right way!

didn't manage to do much today to be honest.

BUT i went to watch a play called "the play that goes wrong". quite literally everything went wrong hahaha! of course everything was planned. the play was very funny and toward the end the whole set was so fucking wrecked hahaha! 4.5/5 stars.

during the interval, this guy who sat beside me just randomly struck a conversation with me, asking me if this was the first time i watched this play. i was like yeah! bla bla bla we talked about where i came from and what his wife does for a living and all that, and i was like cool! my point is... that guy (or his profile, at least) has that zac efron resemblance LOL i had to take a second look just to be sure but no he's not zac efron HAHAHA i wish. he even winked and waved at me before we parted ways and i don't know why i mirrored his actions. yes i winked and waved back at him LOL such fuckery. so much for being gay and all that rainbow shit.

it's pretty cold today as well. down to 1°C. it was 8°C yesterday wtf this world is dying and i blame trump because he doesn't believe in climate change and global warming.

speaking of trump, i just can't believe how ignorant his supporters are. like??? I DON'T EVEN HAVE WORDS FOR THESE PEOPLE????!! you have people arguing that women already have equal rights so why are they protesting like HELLO??? it's because america's about to be led by a shithole like trump?? ok that's enough i'll keep my blog positive.

ok ehem i made herbal tea today! it was great. it was better than the first time i made it actually so i'm happy.

not so sure if this counts as tea but whatever i'm calling it tea anyway.

also i'm still very very very addicted to my gundam breaker 3 (i know it's like the 2864928374th time i've mentioned the game but please i can't really help it). i'll be heading to metrocentre tomorrow, hopefully, to have a look at some games. still thinking if i should get the physical copy of gravity rush cause it's available on the malaysian psn store at a cheaper PLUS it has dlc? i tried the demo and it was pretty cool so i might want the dlc. hmmm maybe if i liked the game enough i could get the physical copy just for collection. i dunno? i'll see about it.

i'll be having french toast for lunch and japanese curry udon for dinner tomorrow. but i'm hungry now fuck!

MOANAAAAA!!!!

so i decided to watch moana OMGGGGGGGGG 10/10 seriously.
i cried so much to the point my head started hurting halfway through the movie don't ask me why because i don't know why my head hurt too.

the message in the movie was great!! i love the identity searching and rediscovery theme that was going on throughout the movie. sometimes the monster you are trying to destroy just needs saving. sometimes you think you aren't you anymore because you lose something important to you but you can only be if you think you are. sometimes it's ok not to have everything figured out as long as you feel like you are heading the right way. eventually things will work out, eventually.
maybe i should say that to myself hahaha

the damn chicken in the movie was so damn cute. the moment i walked out from the cinema i went and got the chicken plushie from disney store LOL

this chicken is so damn relatable. just confused with everything in life hahaha! i had hot chocolate with heihei

and now it's hanging on my notice board because i couldn't find a proper space to keep it HAHAHAHA fucking chicken

anyway before the movie i had lunch at turtle bay, a nice carribean restaurant that i really like. apparently it's newcastle restaurant week so i got myself a 3-course meal for 15 pounds! i love their dumplings but somehow today's dumplings were a little tougher :(

bread and butter pudding with rum (hehehe) with vanilla ice cream. i know i said i wanna cut dairy but i felt so good today i decided to postpone my dairy diet until tomorrow. DON'T JUDGE ME i already feel bad about it that i skipped dinner but mostly it's because i'm still pretty stuffed from lunch LOL

after lunch i wanted to walk off the stuff i just ate so i strolled into anime z and as expected i failed to come out empty handed because i just wanted to buy all the figures.

 anzu mazaki from the original yugioh series. so tempted to get the others as well but they only have her, mokuba, and honda left. i wanted the red eyes one so bad. anzu is still very cute!

yamato ishida from digimon and the fucking siren monokuma from danganronpa's ultra despair girls. the reason i got this monokuma was because i hated it so much in the game i had to buy this HAHAHA the real thing look smaller than the photo because of the angle i took it from. they're both very cute though. now i just need to find a way to hang them in my cabinet back at home...

oh yeah i wanted to cash in 15 pounds worth of coins and while rummaging through my coin pile i found this!

i think it's a limited edition? i don't know but i'm keeping it because it looks special.

and what the fuck, i cashed in 15 pound worth of coins, went for lunch, and they gave me my 5 pound change in coins LOL i guess what's meant to be is meant to be.

and FUCKKKK i'll be seeing rose and rosie!!!!! OMG HIOWEFHOUHDD i'll be going to the one on the 26th of april in glasgow. i've got everything booked, tickets and accommodation and shit. i even selected the meet and greet package OMG i hope i get to say something without tripping on my words. i have about 3 months to worry about that. but for now i'll have to worry about my assignments LOL ehhh fortunately one paper is due on the 6th of april, the it's 2nd of may, and my dissertation on the 4th of may.  i just hope that by the 26th of april i'll already have them done 3 quarters way through.

oh wow times flies! after i get my dissertation and assignments done, if i don't fail i'll be graduating from my degree! aaaaand it's already almost february. oh woooowowowowowowoooooow.

failed onigiri

i actually wanted to blog since tuesday but i forgot LOL so much for a new year's resolution, can't even keep up with the resolution of the day

anyway i went to my second module's first lecture on tuesday.
the module was language origins and evolutions; pretty cool to be honest. it's not just about history and all the boring stuff, it's more like a mixture of many aspects. we gotta know about human history (as in how we got around becoming Homo sapiens, not who invented the first sandwich) and also the human brain and mind, mind vs matter, where people argue about whether what we experience is absolute or just so because we perceive it that way, or the world is just matter? a very good module to induce existential crisis, i must say.
i also skipped my very first language and meaning seminar because i forgot to read the stuff the lecturer sent me hahaha another reason was my laziness.

yesterday after i handed in my report (which i actually managed to finish but still lack over a hundred words haha) i went for lunch at grainger market and i forgot that i shouldn't take yogurt so i fucked up in that sense haha but that only happened once I PROMISE. it was a good reminder. i've decided to cut dairy completely from my diet for at least 120 days and if my skin improves. so wish me luck although i fucked up with the yogurt.

i was walking around and went into GAME, planned to only browse but somehow accidentally bought 2 games hahaha they were pre-owned but they were so worth it cause in the malaysian psn store you only get the japanese version of these games. plus i get to have a physical copy and they are also cheaper, so i don't really mind that it was pre-owned.
the guy at the counter gave me the game box and art book but actually forgot to put the game so i had to go back and get it after realizing the moment i got back LOL

i even got the limited edition steins;gate; i heard it's a great visual novel game so i can't wait to give it a try. if it's good i might even get the sequel. army corps of hell on the right, a game you control your goblin minions or something to do something to something else LOL i really don't know yet.
i also kind of plan to get more games ike gravity rush, virtue's last reward, and earth defense force 2 (i know this game is shit but it's shit in a good way for me) but i figured i should at least finish the other 5 games i haven't finished. how do i do that though when i'm still very stuck with gundam breaker 3???? i haven't even unlocked the final difficulty like wtf.

i also saw that digimon world: next order for ps4 is finally out. i'm sad. i really wanted the english release to come to psvita but instead it only came to the ps4. at least i know mandarin and finished the mandarin version along with the dlcs so i have no regrets. still a good reason to get a ps4 though. not sure if i said these before but i'll say it again anyway hahaha.

apart from games i also walked into HMV, which i usually do when i feel like i need to get some music. no actually i wanted to find nick jonas' album in particular hahaha so i went and had a look. i managed to snatch the last one available on the shelf YASSS also got the UK version of adam's trespassing. all is good.

i think nick jonas is really cute (i know i said i'm gay hahaha but pls) and i really like his music style. i like his beats and tunes though the lyrics are a tad bit simple. but seriously though, he's got to open his mouth when he sings otherwise the voice projection isn't good enough. like, what's in there? or is he afraid that a fly is gonna go in???  it's how he has always sung i guess LOL doesn't bother me that much anyway since i only listen to his music. good music.

before i came back (again) i stopped by the theatre royal to get some play tickets and with my 'friends' membership i got good seats at great prices so i'm happy because of that too. pride and prejudice is a classic so i hope it's good as a play. also got a ticket for the curious incident of the dog in the night-time, a story about autism and stuff, i forgot what exactly but something like that, heard it's good too. i also have a play to attend this saturday and sometime mid march. aren't i civilized and very english. day 874 they still haven't noticed. HAHAHA just kidding i'm easy to notice as fuck. fucking chinese.

uhhh i also met up with my dissertation supervisor and she seemed more interested than last time. we got to talk about, well, i got to talk about my views about gender and i'm glad she understood what i was saying haha it's one step closer toward changing the world LOL always dream big.

and when i was sleeping the damn fire alarm went off at 324am like dude (whoever you are) wtf were u cooking at that hour and can't you at least not create too much smoke that you set the fucking alarm off??

didn't do much today apart from gaming (what's new) and eating (what's new).
well there was a little mental health awareness society talk around 5pm my time. i learnt loads of useful things and it really gave insight on what dementia is. it's not just ONE disease, it encompasses many conditions and one of the most common one is alzheimer's disease. i got a little sad halfway through the talk because i imagined it must have been hard for the patient and the caregivers to deal with such situations. one thing i have gathered from the talk is that connection is very important in order to minimize the difficulty in interaction with the affected persons; their memories, sense of security, sense of belonging, and their certainty (however they perceive thereof) of the world probably all lies in how they connect with their world, and in my opinion, it is what they are losing when they are affected by dementia. what got me real bad was "it's really just their brain dying" and i couldn't help but tear a little bit. i'm just an emotional piece of trash. at least it's good that i learned something today.

i came back to make myself an onigiri and a bowl of miso soup for dinner. i cut the chicken so big it didn't fit in my rice ball so i ended up eating a huge umeboshi rice ball in my left hand while eating the chicken out of the pan with my right. i also didn't make my miso soup because i was standing by the stove until i was done eating and it was quite messy i didn't want to take anything into my room. but i have to say the umeboshi rice ball was great with the soy sauce chicken.
i originally bought the umeboshi paste and sushi rice to make the chaliapin steak don as featured in shokugeki no souma but i've got no steak or butter LOL i'll do that next time.

as for tomorrow, i plan to go watch a movie and grab hot chocolate (with soy milk, duh). not sure if i should watch moana or a monster calls, or something else. i don't know yet but i'll see tomorrow. wanted to take the train to metrocentre to watch a movie and have a look at the GAME store there but meh moana's showing's either at 1045am or 130pm, both a little too early for me. UGH I DON'T KNOW.

first day of final semester

oooh so today is the first day for the final semester of my degree life.
i only have classes on monday and tuesday (skipping the fadss class on thursday forever) so i guess my schedule is pretty loose, though i do have tons of shit to do since it's the final semester of the final year and all that shit, like dissertations and 3000-word essays. but i guess it's what's expected.

remember i talked about needing to finish an interim report? at this point i still haven't done that shit hahaha though i only have 200 words left to do. even at the time i'm writing this post i'm still in the midst of bounty hunting on gundam breaker 3 LOL what even is uni. i should do a simple workout and shower but NO i still got my ass in front of my laptop, my vita, and my phone at the same time. i'm also playing a game on my phone hahahaha fuck

ehhh the lecture on language and meaning (one of the modules i'm taking this semester) was pretty boring. i liked the content though, got me thinking for a bit. now i'm just dreading the other module, language origins and evolutions. like, what??? i've got some reading to do for tomorrow though.

hmmm some people asked me what i am planning to do after uni and i seriously have no idea. like i've got nothing planned apart from
i was about to say dinner but i don't even have dinner planned hahaha so i guess that shows how unplanned i really am. well except for some days.

and i think i am not full from dinner about 1.5 hours ago. i wonder if i should snack on biscuits later? why am i even asking this question here like is anyone even gonna answer me....? IS ANYONE EVEN READING THIS SHIT LOL i guess i'm just blogging to pop things out of my brain.

well i'm just gonna type up some shit to update the blog for fun, i mean it's been a long time.
what's up? nothing much, cause everything is pretty much going down hahaha

been really busy gaming although i have other objectively more important things to do, like my final year dissertation interim report.

i've been so hooked on gundam breaker 3 i can't even think of playing other games for now. only the breaker series though, not other gundam games. but because of the game i bought the plastic models to assemble and i think i have quite steady hands. i think after building a couple more small ones i shall move on to a bigger one, then eventually learning how to paint.
who knows, i can say this now and after a couple of months i stopped giving a fuck about anything gundam hahahaha

speaking of final year, i'm actually going to graduate in about six months omfg like time flies.
i still remember the first day i stepped onto UK's soil and breathed in UK's air, everything felt so new.
now i'm on my way to becoming unemployed and poor, living off my parents money, which i have been doing for 23 years so i guess nothing is new about that HAHAHA

well apart from that i'm listening to nick jonas recently, i guess that's ok. i like his music style, reminds me of taeyang from bigbang LOL i suppose that's what u call a 'type' HAHA ironically i'm gay. but to satisfy my gay side i still have my S.H.E, girls generation, and emma watson (CANT WAIT FOR BEAUTY AND THE BEAST THO what the fuck). though tbh im gay for almost anything in this world apart for butterflies cause they suck. literally and figuratively. so fuck u butterflies.

not a lot to fill in for 4 years LOL actually i'm just too lazy to type everything out.
u see what i mean??? i have a fucking 1000-word report to do and i'd rather spend time writing this shit that already has 400 words. i need to sort out my priorities.
